welcome on my class blog for the web 2.0 seminar SS08. In the seminar we will explore how we can use tools of the Web 2.0 for the TEFL classroom. The phrase web 2.0 is a controversial one, because some people doubt that the web 2.0 is something new after all. This leads us to the question: what is really new about the web 2.0? Tim O’Reilly, who is one of the pioneers of the web 2.0, wrote a milestone article about the web 2.0 and how it changed the internet.
Your task:
Read the article and contribute to the wiki http://new-web-two.wetpaint.com/page/What+is+new+about+the+web+2.0%3F. Each of you has to contribute a part and it has to be something that really adds new content to the wiki. Better start on the empty paper, because then you can decide what you want to add.
The basic question which should be answered in the wiki is ‘what is new about the web 2.0?’.
Of course you can use other sources, too. Please quote the source when it is not related to O’Reilly.
